The University of Nottingham chemistry department has put up a fantastic collection of videos online called The Periodic Table of Videos. They started with a simple brilliant idea: make an educational video for each chemistry element of the Mendeleyev periodic table we have all studied at school (some more than others). The videos are never more than 5 minutes in length, and introduce each element often with a demonstration of a simple experiment involving the element. Some of these can be quite spectacular.
